DREAM DOG - DAY TRAINING

Ideal for: Dogs 6 months and older

If you want a reliable, trustworthy, “go anywhere with you” dog, this is the program for you!

Do you dread walks because your dog pulls, lunges and barks at other dogs or people, or embarrasses you in front of all your neighbors? Are you hesitant to have guests over to the house because your dog is too excitable and won’t settle down? Are you constantly worried he could jump up and scratch or knock someone over? Maybe you love the outdoors and your active pup could use some time to run off all that energy, but you can’t trust him off leash because he chases wildlife or simply would not come back if you needed him to. Do you ever see people sitting on restaurant patios with their well-behaved dogs and wish that you could do the same with yours?

Imagine a dog that walks calmly at your side through any kind of environment, goes to lay on his bed when the doorbell rings, and comes back to you when called 100% of the time. Most importantly, imagine a world where your best friend gets to go more places with you and experience life’s adventures by your side instead of having to be left at home in a crate.

This program will give you the dog you always dreamed of; the dog you know is hiding under all those naughty behaviors. Let a professional maximize your dog’s potential, ensuring that the time, energy, and effort is in place to bring out the best version of your pup. Dogs are dropped off for the day, receive concentrated one-on-one sessions with the trainer in a variety of public environments, and go home with their owners at night. The owner still has quite a bit of involvement, but we will lay the foundation and fast-track dogs on their journey. Day Training runs Tuesday through Friday for two weeks. This package includes four private lessons with the owner, as well as the e-collar used during training. Two of the lessons will be at the owner’s home, and two will be in a public setting to ensure that the owner feels confident keeping the dog focused around distractions. This program includes unlimited training support for the life of the dog. This means that over the course of the dog’s life, set up private lessons as needed and take advantage of “refresher” drop-off days to polish your pup’s skills at any time. This is basically your insurance policy on training to make sure you never have to hire another trainer again.

Training includes:

• Coming when called

• Place (sending to a dog bed in your house)

• Sit and Down with an implied Stay

• Loose leash walking

• Heel

• Distraction training in a variety of public settings

• More serious behavior problems including dog or people aggression, extreme fearfulness, and anxiety
